Tate, her siblings and her mother were found living on the streets of New Delhi. Luckily someone rescued the puppies and their mother and brought them to a government vet in New Delhi. Unfortunately, it was too late for Tate’s siblings and her mother as they all passed away making Tate the only survivor. Tate was too young and too sick to be placed back on the streets and this lucky girl was placed in a loving foster home. But, as Tate grew stronger and bigger it was time to find her forever home. But, no one in India wanted to adopt her and her time was running out to find a forever home. If Tate could not find a home soon she would be placed back on the streets where her fate most likely would be meet underneath the wheels of a car.

That’s when Delhi the Street Dog Foundation was messaged about Tate, and three other puppies all needing homes. We couldn’t say no to those cute puppy faces and decided to name this group of puppies the Fearless Four.

The Fearless Four’s departure date was set and they would be flying from New Delhi to Vancouver where our founder would pick up the puppies from the airport. This sweet girl received amazing news before her flight as a family wanted to adopt her in Seattle.

Tate arrived in Vancouver on December 8th 2018 and then was driven to Seattle where she met her new family and had two new fur siblings, a cat and a dog. Tate has been renamed Tenko.
