Meet Rani

One day while Rani was out looking for food on the streets of India she was hit by a speeding vehicle. That day changed her life forever as she was now paralyzed. Luckily, Bharti, a friend of the Foundation who does amazing rescue work in India, came to Rani’s rescue.

Bharti gave Rani love and care that she had always deserved. Rani spent 3 years of her life on the streets of India before getting hit by a car. This means that she does not instinctively trust humans. Even though she is extremely fearful she has never acted aggressive towards a human. She finds her self-cowering in a corner until she knows that she will not be hurt.

With all of Bharti’s dedication to Rani’s care, Rani started to be able to walk a little bit. Bharti knew that she would never find an adopter in India. She knew that if Rani came to the USA she might be able to receive the proper care and could possible walk again. That’s when Bharti reached out to our Foundation. We immediately reached out to our partner rescue and asked if they could give Rani the second chance she deserved. They agreed and we immediately started looking for flight volunteers.

Rani arrived to the USA on March 25th 2019 to New York City. Rani is currently at Animal Haven looking for her forever home.
