MEET OBI WAN

Obi Wan and Kush along with their siblings were found on a busy road with no mother in site. Since only 20% of street dogs in India make it to their first birthday it was crucial that these puppies found a foster home. They found a wonderful foster home where they were warm and safe so they could just enjoy being puppies.

 That’s when Delhi the Street Dog Foundation was messaged about Obi Wan, and three other puppies all needing homes. We couldn’t say no to those cute puppy faces and decided to name this group of puppies the Fearless Four. The Fearless Four’s departure date was set and they would be flying from New Delhi to Vancouver where our founder would pick up the puppies from the airport.

Obi Wan arrived at the Vancouver airport on December 8th 2018 and then was supposed to go to his forever home. But, as soon as his flight landed this poor boy broke his foot. We thought it was best for him to receive proper care before going to a forever home. An amazing animal rescue in Puyallup, Washington, Sunny Skies Animal Rescue, agreed to help Obi Wan find his forever home in the Pacific Northwest. They not only helped him find an amazing new family but also made sure his foot was completely healed.  Obi Wan has been renamed to Astro.
